Dear Dewey Friends and Neighbors:

As illustrated above by the Cartoon sent in by a citizen, the Mayor and his allies have blocked a request for a public meeting on violence, emailed in to all Council by over 61 Dewey property owners. If you are receiving this you can add to the total to put it over 100 property owners, representing over 200 Dewey registered voters. The message for a public hearing on the bar violence has not sunk in yet with the Mayor (who was supported in his election by Northbeach leaseholder Alex Pires, and who voted for Mr. Pires’ Northbeach proposal from his position as the Lions Club Chief). Accountability is needed in Dewey on Safety issues, please let Council Know.
